Filming Date: Saturday 23rd August 2025 Filming Location: Downpatrick & County Down Railway This is the final video I filmed during the 2025 Summer Diesel Day at the Downpatrick & County Down Railway, organised by the Irish Traction Group. There were 4 return trips to Inch Abbey from Downpatrick running, and I was on all of them. This footage is from the 3rd one, and this is the only one where I filmed the journey as during the other trips there were people already occupying the windows. Also filming out the window for any length of time gives me a really sore back so that is why I only did it once. The first ride was using 458/788 'Antrim Castle', the second ride was using A39R, the third ride was using 146 and the fourth ride was using 124. The 3 locomotive-hauled trips used carriages 133, 148 & 72. In the video I was travelling in 72, at the rear of the train.
