Be sure to find the sweet spot of your tweezers and start to grab your lashes close to the base. This allows the base to stay in tack while the top flares out. Slightly release the grip of your tweezers and shimmy the lashes left and right to open up the lash fan. Once you get the fan to the desired size, grip the fan a little tighter and gently pull lashes forward. If the base of the fan isn't as thin as you'd like, dip the base in the adhesive and manipulate the tip by swiping both sides on an edge to bunch the base together, allowing it to form a point.
