If you like destinations that are less crowded yet filled with hidden gems, picturesque hikes and delicious local food, you have to add West Wales to your travel plans. MY RECOMMENDATIONS: If you, like me, love period homes I would highly recommend staying at 📍Noyadd Trefawr. Natasha and Quentin made us feel at home and recommended some great local gems to visit! hikes & walks: 1) Cenarth Fall - you can do a walk up the river and back or do a loop. 2) Coast Path from Penbryn - amazing views of the coastal line. We hiked all the way to Traeth Beach and then back. 3) Hafod Estate - 4 different routes in the forest with stunning waterfalls along the way. food recommendations: 🍕 1) Pizza Tipi - delicious pizza in Cardigan 2) Tafell a Tân - grab a pizza and eat it on the beach! 2) Mannucci's - for great pasta 3) Nag's Head - Sunday roast 4) Cherry Picked Farm Shop - local products 5) The Deli at Cenarth things to do: 1) Afon Mêl Honey Farm & Meadery - wonderful exhibition about honey bees and you can buy what they produce. They also serve delicious lunches! 2) Caws Cenarth Cheese Shop - stop by to get a taste of locally produced, award-winning cheese! 3) Viewpoint - go here for the most incredible sunsets. It is a real hidden gem! https://maps.app.goo.gl/tRPUPghvN2iPT... 4) National Wool Museum - a place filled with history of Welsh wool industry. Free entrance. 5) Dinefwr - a palace owned by the National Trust. Don't forget to ask about the haunted paintings 😉 CHAPTERS 0:00 intro 0:47 hotel, mini tour & plans 3:15 day 1 7:51 day 2 12:01 day 3 14:33 outro ABOUT ME Hi and welcome! 🤍 I’m so happy you found your way to my little corner of the internet. Make yourself at home ☺️ I’m Basia — I’ve been living in London for almost four years now, but before that, I spent nearly nine years in the USA. I’m a musician and a Berklee graduate, where I studied music production. Around here, you’ll find me day-tripping to the countryside, treasure hunting for antiques, and decorating our cozy flat with second-hand finds. Every few months, I hop over to Poland (that’s my home country) — and if you love “Pride and Prejudice” as much as I do, we’re already going to be great friends 😍 ✨ My “Pride and Prejudice” filming locations guide 🗺️ (I visited all the locations and wrote a guide where you will find information on how to get there, behind the scenes stories, P&P events and so much more!) https://stan.store/bagafinds/p/pride-...
