Review and walk-around of my 1999 Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird. Warning - completely biased review totally backed up by the actual performance and quality of this landmark motorcycle. UPDATE - In May 2023, I sold my baby here. I'm putting the proceeds directly into psychotherapy to deal with the loss. But after a decade of Learjet flying in Executive Class on the 'Bird, I just found myself yearning for the greater comfort and storage of a more upright traditional tourer. For now, that's come in the form of an older Kawasaki Concours but I may move to an ST1300. Regardless, I will NEVER forget NOR stop cherishing my time spent on this landmark motorcycle.
