Cablecc USB 3.1 Front Panel Header to USB 3.0 20Pin Header Extension Cable 20cm for ASUS Motherboard: https://amzn.to/2pPVO9A So, you have a USB 3.0 front panel card reader, and your front case USB 3.0 inputs, but only 1 USB 3 header on your motherboard? So, you have a USB 3.0 front panel card reader, and your front case USB 3.0 inputs, but only 1 USB 3 header on your motherboard? I was hoping this to be a video about how this worked, but unfortunately, this cable didn't work. I tested with two motherboards with two identical cables, and no luck. The main reason that this cable doesn't work is there is no USB 3.1 set header standard yet. The various ways in which this connector has been implemented, means that this adapter has a low chance of working on boards on many boards. Even thought the header connector is the same, it is pinned differently depending on manufacturer and motherboard model. This is adding to the frustration. We can only hope that this version of the cable will become standard, and it will work, but time will tell. The main reason that this cable doesn't work is due to the fact that Asus decided that the header on this board should only be for a single USB Type C connector. When you attempt to hook up dual usb plug, or devices, one gets power while the second gets data. This makes it so neither port works properly. Quite frustrating. I really had hoped this adapter had worked, as I wanted to run both front USB case connectors, and a USB card reader, but for some reason dual (or more) USB 3.0 headers is not a standard. Unlike USB 2.0, which even low en motherboards come with 2 or more headers. Facebook: / audiocraz Instagram: / audiocraz Amazon Wish List: http://a.co/9F8un02 http://audiocraz.com
