Packaging technologies with optical security elements, such as KURZ TRUSTSEAL®, protect original products and reveal to consumers important product information such as authenticity and origin of a product. The innovative packaging technology enables consumers to protect themselves better. In collaboration with BAYER, KURZ has developed a cap seal that protects users from counterfeit crop protection products or illegal pesticides. The seal features an optical security feature and a TRUSTCODE® QR code that can be scanned with any smartphone. In the associated app, the scanned QR code is compared with an online database and users receive important product information within seconds.
