Abdul Basit in his Prime heartbreaking Surah Hud - Prophet Noah's Son (English)

In chapter 12 (Hud - "Prophet Hud"), verses 41-49 of the glorious Qur'an, Almighty God speaks about Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) and his son who did not believe in his father's message. In this video, the story is recited by the famous Quran reciter Qari Abdul Basit Abdussamed with transliteration in English. It is important to note that this is not the whole story. The verses in this video describe the moment when Noah embarks on the Ark and tries to convince his son to do the same. However, his son does not belive in his fathers Message that there is no God but Allah and so stubbornly refuses to board the ship. He instead seeks refuge on a mountain from the rising water, which eventually costs him his life. It is important to note that Noah's wife, too, did not embark with him on the Ark and died in the floods. This message shows us that even relatives of prophets are not automatically good people before Allah but it is your deeds that make you good before the Almighty.
