Bodycam DUI Arrest - Entitled Drunk 19-Year-Old Begs for Her Mommy

On February 19, 2023, Kent Police Officer Schmitt observed a vehicle run a red traffic light. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and the 19-year-old woman stated she was returning from dropping off her friends at the Kent State University dorms. She also stated she needed to get home in order to care for her livestock. Because she had alcoholic beverages in her vehicle, Officer Schmitt asked her to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests (FSTs). She initially claimed that she was the designated driver and had not consumed any alcohol. She later admitted that she had consumed 2 Busch "heavy" beers. After being arrested for DUI and being placed in the back of the police car, she seemed to recant her story and once again claim that she didn't drink any alcohol. She submitted to an evidential breath test (EBT) and the result was 0.102% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
