Hello! Please enjoy this video I put together of the ringed seals Mashiro and Tsuki at Okhotsk Tokkari Center Seal Land in Mombetsu, Hokkaido, Japan! Please subscribe for more cute animal videos and cute animal photos in my YouTube posts! :) Okhotsk Tokkari Center Seal Land rescues seals in Hokkaido Japan and has ringed seals and spotted seals. Mashiro is a very fat, very round and often fluffy seal. Tsuki is smaller and has a raccoon mask, and is usually screaming, fussing, or yelling! Her rings are also less pronounced than Mashiro's. Mashiro was found in the wild and was too small too late in the season to survive the winter, so he was rescued. Mashiro was a very late birth in the pupping season, which made him too small when the weather started to get cold. Mashiro was so young when he was rescued he became quite attached to his caretakers and used to people that he is unlikely to succeed now in the wild if released. He seemed to like to be out of the water resting more than the other seals. Tsuki was born in early 2025, and is just starting her training and learning tricks. She is still learning her name and when she gets fed, she will sometimes pop out of the water when it's other seals' feeding time, and she is ALWAYS crying out for food! But what's funny is when Seal Land closes for the day, she will stop her crying! Tsuki is the pup of Yo and Katsunori (Katsu), who also live at the center. I didn't add any music over the clips because I wanted to preserve Tuski and Mashiro's super cute sounds, but I did try to reduce wind and lawn mower sounds, so hopefully you can enjoy Tsuki and Mashiro's little sounds without too much distraction! I especially recommend you watch where the trainer is feeding another seal and Mashiro comes up behind and is trying to do the tricks the other seal is doing, slapping his flippers trying to get the trainer's attention!
