Traditional Leaders in Lumezi Committed to Development

By Joy Nyambe Traditional leaders in Lumezi district of Eastern province have committed to work with the government to bring development in their Chiefdoms following the increased Constituency Development Fund. The traditional leaders say they will support the development agenda and vision of President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA, which has improved the lives of people. The chiefs have however, requested government to address some challenges in their Chiefdoms, such as the human-animal conflict, poor road network and infrastructure in schools. The traditional leaders registered their concerns when Special Assistant to the President for Political Affairs, LEVY NGOMA called on them at their respective palaces in Lumezi district.
