Tearing down a transmission seems complicated, but when it comes to a 2wd or 4x4 conversion, it's pretty simple! So if you end up with the wrong 4L60E for your swap, here's your solution! There are a ton of 2wd and 4wd output shafts and housings on Ebay pretty cheap so finding parts shouldn't be an issue there.
