Lenno (Lake Como) - Italy Walking Tour

The small village of Lenno is situated on the western branch of Lake Como, along the coastal stretch known as Tremezzina, 27 Km north of Como. It enjoys a privileged position, nestled in a natural bay, surrounded by olive trees and tons of other luxuriant mediterranean plants, washed by calm water and kissed by the sun all day long. Here you'll find the famous Villa del Balbianello, one of the greatest villas on the lake. In Piazza XI Febbraio you’ll see the church and the romanesque octagonal baptistery that dates back to the XIth century. At the centre of the piazza there’s the war memorial. Lenno's promenade is perfect for a walk and it offers beautiful panoramic views, most turists come here for a coffee break or a meal in one of the restaurants facing the lake.
