MSTY ETF Review. In this video I do a thorough review of a derivative income fund YieldMax MSTR Option Income Strategy ETF or MSTY as a source of dividend income. MSTY invests in Strategy Inc stock (MSTR) or formerly known as MicroStrategy through synthetic exposure with dividend income overlay. It is a popular covered call fund for dividend investing since its yield often exceeds 100%. MSTY is one of the top monthly dividend ETFs that many people consider for their retirement portfolio. But, MSTY ETF dividend tends to fluctuate a lot depending on how underlying MSTR stock is doing. As with many other YieldMax funds, MSTY is not immune to NAV erosion either. Overall, MSTY ETF has its pros and cons. It is not for everyone as it is a high risk, high beta fund that relies on a single stock for its performance. Also, MSTY taxes could be higher than just holding MSTR stock. For this reason, it could be better to hold MSTY ETF in a tax-deferred account. Other things I talk about are MicroStrategy Bitcoin treasury infinite money glitch. It's a "flywheel" term for raising capital and buying bitcoin with leverage "forever".
