Top AI models. One Mafia game. Zero trust. We simulated a Mafia game using 10 AI models, testing how artificial intelligence behaves in social deduction, deception, and trust-based decision making. Three AI models were assigned the role of Mafia (Rats), tasked with manipulating and deceiving the group. The remaining models acted as Citizens, including a Detective who could uncover roles and a Doctor who could save players. Each round involved: AI-driven discussion and accusations Hidden information and strategic deception Voting-based elimination Night and day cycles until one side won Set inside a fictional dockside warehouse, this experiment explores how AI reasoning changes under uncertainty, pressure, and misinformation.
