Sushi TUTORIAL // Polymer Clay Miniature

A polymer clay tutorial on how to make miniature dollhouse sushi. After baking the sushi pieces I add superglue to porcelain dollhouse plates and glue the sushi pieces on. HOW TO: ► Create rice: Flatten the white clay, roll the white/gray clay into a snake and add the white clay sheet over the snake. ► Create other fillings such as veggies by doing the same thing but with different colors (light green/dark green etc.) ► Create salmon filet by mixing together various red, pink & flesh colored polymer clays. ► Create sushi rolls by rolling all fillings (rice, veggies etc) into snakes side by side and then add the black seaweed wrap (thin sheet of black clay). Roll until thin. I then bake the clay rolls/canes in the oven for about 5min so it's easier to cut out individual sushi rolls without the fillings smushing together. ► Create salmon nigiri by adding the salmon filet on top of some white clay. Add finishing touches by adding small cuts to the filet with a craft knife ► I glued the baked sushi rolls and nigiri to a miniature plate.
