Fibre Festival Yarn Hunting - Crea Weekend Hardenberg Vlog

Hello friends! 🧶 In today’s vlog we did something a little chaotic… we drove three hours across the Netherlands to visit Crea Weekend in Hardenberg, one of the largest craft festivals in the country. Naturally, I couldn’t go without bringing a knitting project, so my Typewriter Cardigan came along for the ride. At the festival we explored hundreds of creative stalls and, of course, I did what any responsible knitwear designer would do… went yarn hunting. I ended up finding yarn for two upcoming samples: 🧶 Typewriter Cardigan – second sample I found two beautiful green mohairs that will be paired with one of my melted baby suri yarns. The result will be a very dreamy tonal green version of the cardigan. 🧶 Arlino Tee – second sample This design is part of my linen collaboration with BC Garn, and while exploring the festival I found a soft baby-blue 100% cotton that will become the second sample of the tee. This vlog is a little peek into the real life of a knitwear designer — scouting yarn, planning future designs, and knitting everywhere I go.
