Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh is praising efforts to fight the opioid crisis. Earlier this year, the city created its first Opioid Response Team. Members go out in the community every week offering help to those in need. Since launching in September, the Opioid Response Team has made nearly 275 individual referrals to treatment. Members are hoping to continue guiding more people into recovery.
