Shot in ProRes Raw with Varicam LT to an Atomos Shogun 7 Lens: Mamiya Sekor C 45mm. Yes, the focus is off in a few shots... ISO 800 Raw output from the camera, so no noise reduction and sharpening are done in-camera. Edited in Final Cut Pro X. Raw conversion to V-Log in FCPX controls. Converted V-Log to ACES with Color Finale Pro 2. Noise Reduction with Neat Video V5. Exposed with the false colour tool on the camera to get the correct exposure on the 18% grey patch on the ColorChecker video passport. The false colour on the Shogun 7 works good for correct exposure, but the tool on the camera shows the highlights clip much later than the Shogun shows. At 4 stops over the 90% reflective on the video passport gets contaminated with red noise. At 5 over it clips. But other than the bright spots all colours remain and the image looks very solid. 2 under remains the maximum without noise reduction. With noise reduction -3 still works and for some scenes, even -4 might be acceptable. At -5 there is a shift in colour and a lot of noise. But for recording what is basically almost pitch black there's a lot of colour information left. Next test is with a face, I might even go higher than +5 to really try and break things.
