This awesome little station at Spaubeek in Limburg province in the Netherlands has multiple advance warning lights, booms with built-in LEDs, a separate boom for the pedestrian path on one side of the crossing as well as separate booms to close off the central platform. The platform crossing only closes for southbound trains and remains open when northbound trains come through. A highlight of this video is when a southbound intercity comes through and then the platform booms open, but the road crossing remains closed for the northbound local train. Spaubeek is right off the busy east/west highway in the skinny part of the Netherlands sandwiched between Germany and Belgium. Other than the road noise it's a peaceful little village served by Arriva local trains connecting to Kerkrade in the south and Sittard to the north. From Heerlen there are connections to Maasstricht and Aachen in Germany.
