Tensions are escalating across the Gulf as several countries report intercepting drones and missiles amid the ongoing conflict involving Iran. Authorities in Dubai say emergency crews responded to a fire near Dubai International Airport after a suspected drone incident. The airport is one of the busiest aviation hubs in the world. Elsewhere in the region, Saudi Arabia says it intercepted multiple drones in its eastern region, while alarms were reported in Bahrain. Defense officials in Qatar say all drones entering their airspace were intercepted, and damage was reported near the international airport in Kuwait City. Meanwhile, Iran-linked armed groups in Iraq have released drone footage they claim shows attacks on U.S. targets, including strikes on the Victory Base Complex. Leaders across the Gulf Cooperation Council are calling for de-escalation as fears grow that the conflict could spread across the region.
