This is a timelapse of my view of building a game for the Indie Speed Run called "You Can Take it With You". The theme we got was 'Afterlife' and the element was 'UFO' and the deadline was 48. I did it with my good friend Keith for three reasons. So I could get back into the swing of making games. Because nothing is more badass than making a game at mighnight on new years eve and because Keith needed to finish at least one game in 2012. It turned out pretty good. The mechanic of speed inventory management works, although it's a bit rough around the edges, especially in the art department. We got about 8 hours sleep each, which is acceptable for a short jam. There's definitly some idea's I'll be borrowing from it for future projects.
