This video introduces the basics of Fragile X analysis using GeneMarker. This is a new application being introduced with GeneMarker version 2.6. The program automatically calculates the triplet repeat number for each run, as well as the methylation percentage, if applicable. The Fragile X analysis application is built directly into GeneMarker, creating a complete analysis pipeline spanning raw data to results. Consequently, the analysis is faster and less error prone compared to manual approaches. GeneMarker is compatible with the outputs of all major CE instruments. The Fragile X analysis application supports Asuragen® kits, other commercial kits, and custom chemistries. As demonstrated in the webinar, both single and multi-dye projects are possible.
