One of the cheapest railway companies we’ve used. Come along and see how we get on. Izmir Basmane Train Station has two key dates: the Smyrna (Izmir) - Kasaba Railway (to Kasaba/Turgutlu) opened in 1866, marking the start of operations, while the current, station building was completed and opened in 1876, by the French company Régie Générale.
