Module 2: Service Navigation Scope of Practice

Part 2 of 3 Module 1: Barriers to Health Care Access discusses the inequalities and barriers to care that families experience while navigating services. In this 3-part services learners will be able to explain the barriers to care that families experience, describe the scope of practice and best practices for service navigation, identify training needs for service navigators, understand service navigator' perspectives on evidence-based practice. Module 2: Service Navigation Scope of Practice discusses the areas that are most important to social work practitioners and the degree of their need for training in these areas Module 3: Service Navigation Workforce discusses the survey findings regarding the service navigators' attitudes and perspectives on aspects of their work.
