Johor Corporation (JCorp) is proud to announce the official launch of Ibrahim Technopolis (IBTEC), a 7,290-acre next-generation integrated development within the Johor–Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ). The launch took place at Kota Iskandar, fronting Johor’s state administrative buildings - a setting that underscores IBTEC’s strategic role in advancing Johor’s long-term economic direction under Maju Johor and the close alignment between state aspirations and JCorp’s development agenda. The launch was officiated by His Highness Tunku Abdul Rahman Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Panglima Johor, representing the Regent of Johor. The ceremony was witnessed by YAB Dato’ Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Menteri Besar Johor and Chairman of JCorp, together with Datuk Syed Mohamed Ibrahim, President & Chief Executive of JCorp and Chairman of JLand Group. Sharing IBTEC’s long-term ambition, Datuk Syed highlighted: “IBTEC is designed to become one of the world’s largest integrated innovation sandbox, supported by scalable infrastructure, an open digital platform and an enabling institutional framework.” Developed by JLand Group - JLG, IBTEC is masterplanned as a connected ecosystem that brings together advanced manufacturing, medtech and life sciences, logistics, agritech and data-driven industries. It integrates industrial, R&D, commercial and community spaces under one blueprint to drive higher-value, innovation-led growth. Aligned with Johor’s low-carbon ambition, IBTEC is Malaysia’s first 5-Diamond rated data centre parks and industrial township under the Low Carbon City Framework. Its signature landmark, Exclaim Discovery City designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, will form the district’s iconic gateway. As IBTEC unfolds, it is expected to create meaningful opportunities for Malaysians and Johoreans, strengthen regional supply chains and support more resilient, people-centred communities. For JCorp, IBTEC reflects long-term planning and ecosystem-based development, delivered through JLand Group as a key driver of Johor’s next phase of sustainable, innovation-led growth. #MajuJohor #IbrahimTechnopolis #IBTEC #MembinaDanMembela #ReimaginingTheNext #JCorp
