James Gunn mentioned that the Creature Commandos episode Priyatel Skelet, originally showed Batman in a more visible suit,. The Brave and the Bold was announced on January 31, 2023, by James Gunn and Peter Safran. The film is said to be inspired by Grant Morrison's era and focuses on Batman and Damian's relationship. Gunn has indicated that members of the Bat-Family and the League of Assassins will feature in the film in some capacity, as expected.
