Oirat mongolic dialect. Mongols/Mongolians consists of many small ethnic groups and tribes. Depending on location there are westren mongols, north mongols, east mongols and south mongols. Westren mongols are "oirats" majority of oirats now lives in Russia in Kalmykia ( one republic in Russia) around 200 thousand of oirats live in Westren Mongolia probably same amount of oirats are living in Xinjiang province in China. Once oirats in 16century had the biggest nomadic khanate "Dzungaria" It was the last and one of powerful mongolic nomadic khanate in addition to Mongol empire (which was estableshed by Chingis khaan). Dzungaria was destroyed and defeated by qing( manchus). Oirat mongols suffered alot because of dzungar genocide that's why majority of them migrated and settled near to Volga river ( Russia). If the genocide did not occurred the population of oirat mongols would have been more than 2 million, now population is bit more than 600 000. Of course it affects the population of mongolians. North mongols are Buryat mongols they are the native tribes who lived near to Baikal river in Siberia. Buryats are the longest who lived under russian influens. Russian buryats can freely understand mongolian spoken in Mongolia. But there is very few buryats who can their language. So east Mongols are basically population of Mongolia 🇲🇳. 93% of Mongolia are khalkha mongols. Khalkha mongols are unity of mongol tribes of 13 century. South mongols are Inner Mongolians. I am not aware of all tribes they have. But i know that majority are Chahar Mongols, Deed mongols, Daur mongols, Barga mongols and many many other small tribes. These ethnic groups have biggest influence from Chinese culture and language because they lived near to them for centuries. But at the end inner mongolians did good job for preserving their mongol culture and language. After all we are all mongols we are carriers and representatives of mongol language and culture. But if you want to dig further and know more about Mongols there is slightly few differences in between them including dialect and clothing.
