From Vancouver to Tokyo | YVR to Haneda Flight + First Night at Okachimachi Urban Hotel

Our Japan trip begins with a long travel day from Vancouver (YVR) to Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND). After landing in Tokyo, we checked in at the Okachimachi Urban Hotel, exhausted from the flight and running on very little sleep. We ended the night with a quick stop at a nearby convenience store for something to eat, but the day didn’t end smoothly, my HSP (Henoch–Schönlein Purpura) flared up, likely triggered by compression socks during the long flight. It was a reminder that traveling with a health condition can bring unique challenges, but it doesn’t have to stop the adventure.
