We're looking at a 1958 Gaylord Gladiator in Black & White Paint. We’re talking with the Co-Owner Ralph Carungi. I met Ralph at the 2016 Arizona Concourse at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel (which only invites 90 of the finest cars) and he said something to me that I could not forget, that his car was “The Batmobile in the Tuxedo”. Well the day flew by and I did not get the chance to video his car that day. However today Ralph and I share the opportunity to video his car. This is the first video of his car that we are aware of. To Ralph’s understanding this is a 1 of 1 car, and the only car like it in the world. This car was built by Jim and Ed Gaylord in 1957 out of Chicago Illinois, and they wanted to build a luxury car that competed with other luxury cars. I love this car, it’s just AMAZING!
