Join me on a raw and scenic adventure through the Belgian Ardennes, where I explored two incredible nature spots: Park Furfooz and the Aiguilles de Chaleux viewpoint. These locations are perfect for anyone looking to experience the best of Belgium travel, nature, and European hiking trails. In Park Furfooz, I came across a duck nest in the most unexpected place—on top of a steep rock ledge. It was a sketchy and slightly terrifying moment, but one I love. The trail winds through a piece of forest and limestone cliffs, all nestled in the heart of the Ardennes. This place used to be a 'wellness center' 1700-1900 years ago. You can still see remains of the Roman baths, hot/cold rooms, swimming pool and more. Later, I checked out another rock at Aiguilles de Chaleux. It’s steep, exposed, and definitely not for the faint of heart—but the panoramic view over the Lesse River and the surrounding landscape made it worth every step. If you have fear of height I recommend to stay at the safe first viewpoint.
