Clarinetist Staff Sgt. She earned her Master of Music degree in 2019 from the New England Conservatory, where she studied with Boston Symphony Orchestra clarinetist Michael Wayne. During her time in Boston, she performed with the Boston Civic Symphony, Eureka Ensemble, various chamber groups, and the NEC Philharmonia under renowned conductors including Hugh Wolff, Leonard Slatkin, and Jeffrey Kahane. In 2017, Frenduto graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she studied with Dr. Anthony Taylor. During the UNCG Wind Ensemble’s 2016 European Concert Tour, she appeared as a featured soloist in the Czech Republic, Austria, and Italy. As a Minerva Music Scholarship recipient, she received full tuition and expanded solo performance opportunities. Her summer festival engagements include Round Top Festival Institute, Brevard Music Center, Eastern Music Festival, and Sewanee Summer Music Festival.
