Metal laser cutting technology offers some of the most innovative, accurate, and precise cutting techniques available in the industry today. Laser cutting allows designers to use CAD computer systems to guide high-powered laser beams and achieve the most exceptional levels of cutting detail on a broad range of materials. That is why at this years FABTECH show, we wanted to have new state-of-the-art CNC hardware, and software, at the show. The market changes and evolves at a rapid pace and constantly demands new solutions. Because of this, we are constantly upgrading our products. The Q7 Platform is a universal CNC System for the 8060/8065/8070 family of controls. This platform is 45%-60% more compact than the previous platform, but is much more powerful with improved CPU and operating systems. As seen in the video, the Q7 upgrade has benefits for many of the 8070L features such as improved Gap Processing Time and higher frequency Pulse-Width Modification. The platform is also VESA mount compatible, meaning the control can be connected to various third party monitors with ease. All 8070 and 8060 laser controls are now equipped with fully integrated Lantek Inside Software. This new laser programming software is a specially designed CAD/CAM solution that automates sheet metal cutting machines. Regular production demands of the user are optimized for tasks such as repeating single parts, redoing damaged or missing parts, or reusing any scrap piece without the need of any intermediate procedures. This software is integrated into the control, maximizing the use of materials and optimizing execution times, as well as faster production processes.
