Rolling a cigarette - kind of a tutorial. I'm showing You my method for rolling, and trying to explain tricky parts of rolling. I Hope it would be helpful. On the beginning, i apologize for my english - it's not so well, and i realize that. I hope that text would be at least understandable. I'm using Mascotte papers, zig-zag 6mm slim filters and Golden Virginia tobacco in pouch (i'm mainly using Look Out or Drum shag, because i've got used to them when i was in Holland, but this time i thought that i'll give myself a bit of luxury :P). I think that this combination of thick papers and slim filter is the best way to learn rolling (and also for less smoking). Thick papers (Like green and cream Mascottes or Columbus Classic) are more silkier than thin papers (ex. Mascotte Blue, OCB black or Gizeh Sphinx White). Furthermore, they burn freely, and the would not extinguish like thin papers. Slim filter fits better for slightly conical shape of cigarette (which i prefer) and is more friendly beginner in rolling. Firstly, we have to take the paper and the filter. Find the fold on the paper, and put it on the table with glue side up and the non glued edge towards You. Take a bit of tobacco and rip it off in your hands. It's a tricky, but not so easy to explain for beginners - you'll see in time how much tobacco you need for cigarette. It's better not exaggerate with it, because it'll make Your rolling harder. Put the filter nearby, and pick up the paper with the tobacco on it. Equalize the tobacco on the paper a bit, leavethe place for the filter, and little space on the other side because when You roll, the tobacco will expand. When you're holding the prepared papers with fitting wmount of tobacco, take the filter and put it on the end of the paper (generally it's better to put it on Your weaker hand side) and tuck it to the left place. When You start rolling hold the filter with your one hand at all the time, and move another hand rolling along the cigarette. Good idea is to keep the filter end lower than the another end to make the tobacco naturally tighter. It is crucial to rub paper on paper with only keeping the tobacco to not to loose by your fingers. When you have nice cylinder shape of tobacco inside paper, move the filter a bit inside the paper and hold it (edges of the filter and paper should be equal). Now, start rolling up - hold the filter as before, and put the thumbs in that way to keep fingertips on the same level as edge of the paper. With a quick move roll them down toegether, and put your index fingers above them to catch the edges. Roll up, give it a lick, finish the roll (especially tighten it on the filter) and there You go. Good idea is to knock few times with a cigarette on the table (or whatever You have flat nearby) to tighten the tobacco close to filter.
