Here is a Magicka Sorcerer PVE build and Iron Atronach Parse for the Scalebreaker patch. If you want a simpler Pet Sorc Build, check this out: • ESO - Magicka Pet Sorcerer 'Classic' PVE B... There have been loads of changes across the board for combat in ESO. I would recommend you to read the relevant patch notes. Skills that are useful for Magicka DPS that previously were not: Degeneration Destructive Reach Scalding Rune Consuming Trap (Single Target) or Soul Splitting Trap (Cleave) Mystic Orb I am using the Max Magicka/Magicka Regen food, with 64 points into Magicka for all Magicka Setups in these rotations. This is simply for comparison purposes in this test environment. Gear used here: 5x Mother's Sorrow Body, 5x Siroria front-barred, 2x Zaan. (See build screenshot for full details). Other gear that is perfectly suitable for different situations include: False God, Spell Strategist, Burning Spellweave, Necropotence CMX Parse - https://i.imgur.com/4RXrlZ0.png CMX Build Screenshot (Skillsbars, Gear, CPs) - https://i.imgur.com/6BDgXGw.png --- Rotation The rotation I show here is dynamic, however, there is a decent static one further down. In Scalebreaker, we have a lot of DOTs to manage. Soul Trap, Destructive Reach, Degeneration, Barbed Trap, Scamp and Daedric Prey, should be kept up as much as possible. If there are clashes between expiry, with more than 1 DOT expiring at the same time, then you can reapply them early. Don't reapply Daedric Prey early though since you won't get the burst damage at the end of the 6 seconds. We also treat Scalding Rune and Unstable Wall as our hybrid DOT/spammables. Feel free to prioritise reapplying Scalding Rune or Unstable Wall early if there is nothing else to keep up due to their decent direct damage portions. Here are some ideas in using Crystal Fragments. If most of your DOTs are up and you have nothing else to do then this is the obvious time to use it. If there are a bunch of front-bar DOTs that need to be reapplied, then it may also be good to cast Crystal Fragments in the hope that you will gain another proc by the time you've reapplied the other DOTs. It is partially for this reason why I have chosen relatively shorter DOTs to put on the front bar, as it forces me to spend more time on this bar. If there are a bunch of backbar abilities that need to be applied, I would rather save the proc until I am done with those, since you cannot gain a new Crystal Frag proc (unless you also have it slotted on backbar for whatever reason). In terms of priorities, Unstable Wall is the most important to keep up since the vMA Staff bonus is dependant on it, and just a reminder that recasting early does still grant the explosion portion of the damage upon recast. When your Atronach Ultimate is up, then refreshing Daedric Prey on cooldown would be good. Degeneration is good to keep up for the slight Magicka return if sustain is important. Otherwise, it doesn't matter too much between the rest. You may have noticed that I have made use of Bash weaving on many of my skills. Since 5.0.10, bashes also scale with Max Magicka and Spell Damage on Magicka characters, so it is well worth it if you're comfortable adding the extra layer of complexity and resource management. It is also now more relevant because if you were to use the new Martial Knowledge Set, then having less than 50% Stamina is a requirement for activating that set. Other skills that are still noteworthy, are Lightning Flood, and Mystic Orb, which can replace really any of your other DOTs, or you can add them both instead of a Pet. Boundless Storm can be used if you would like, but don't have other ways of receiving Major Resistances. If you need a shield, you can also simply remove one of the DOTs. Proposed Static Rotation: Start: Pet - Barbed Trap - Wall - Rune Prey - Soul Trap - Destructive Reach - Degeneration - Pet - Wall Prey - Rune - Soul Trap - Destructive Reach - Degeneration - Wall Prey - Rune - Pet - Barbed Trap - Wall - Rune If you have a Frag Proc or Atro ready to cast, you can cast it instead of the spots where I write Rune or just add it into the rotation and carry on. Thanks for reading. If there's anything in mind regarding Magicka Sorcerer, let me know in the comments. --- Kashtrø feat Leo Xia - This Chance [Bass Rebels Release] Song - • Kashtrø feat Leo Xia - This Chance [Bass R...
