Let's start with the first three chords of the Pop Ballad 2 preset. Click the "Suggest Chord" button, then the last chord in the progression. Audition them. They seem quite distant to each other. Engage minimize movement to keep the chords closer together. Let's pick this one. Something is still off. Right click the last chord and select "Edit Chord" Audition the options. Remember the bright blue chords are in the scale we are using. blue-ish-grey shares some notes and grey is outside. Choose one. Engage Dynamic Voice Grouping to get a nice bass note. Now the last chord has a really high pitched note. Flip back to the Chord Editor, select all the chords, and hit the "Auto Voice Leading" button to group them closer. Now we have a custom Pop Ballad Chord Progression in under 90 seconds.
