On Saturday, May 3, 2025, Casey Hull helped Mineral Creek Logging Company move their TY 90 SP Yarder thirty five miles down HWY 140 & HWY 62. Here is some history on this particular yarder as told by my bother, Casey Hull. This yarder has always had a place in my life. It was bought new Shirley Laird from Gold Beach. In 1987 he stoped logging and had Ritchie Bros auction off his equipment. I got to go to that auction with my dad and I defiantly remember that yarder. In that time if ya had a TY 90 you were a somebody and it was it beautiful shape. From there it went to Von Logging in Carlton. Fast forward to early 2000’s I would see this yarder in Valsetz, Gravel Cr and Bear Cr. All tough logging country. It would leave Von’s and go to Forks Washington to Dilly & Soloman, I would run into in again at Forks when I was driving lowboy truck. From there it would be sold to Mineral Cr Logging and go to Eagle Point. When I got to call to be involved to help move it I jumped at it. I stood on the outside of the tube to spot the ditch and the white line for the entire drive. If ya know!!! Then ya know why that is important. 38 years later from the first time I saw this yarder in person, yesterday it was moved to a yard where in a few weeks it will once again be auctioned off at a Ritchie Bros auction. The flyer pics in this post are from the 1987 auction. It was an awesome thing to be involved with. We ducked several times for low lines and stop lights :-)... We shot this short video using the video function on several cell phone cameras. I edited and uploaded using iMovie on an iMac desk top computer. As always please enjoy, "SMASH" that "like button" and keep checking back for more movie uploads. Be safe and "Keep on Trucking". Beep Beep, Cody
