The song comes from the early 1980s and shows Jiří Korn in his pop-disco phase, when Czech artists recorded also English-language material aimed at a broader audience. The song tells a dream of a man who becomes a judge at a beuaty contest, fascinated by distant, exotic, and a bit unreachable women. He is drawn to their beauty and mystery, yet feeling a quiet longing rather than real closeness, especially when he wakes up from the dream. For me, it’s another opportunity to test some bass synth presets. Bass used: Warwick Streamer LX Limited Edition 2008 Recorded with GarageBand and OBS Studio, powered by a PreSonus Studio 68c.
