Thanks to Chuck(G) at Vintage Computer Forums, we were now able to clone the original Creative PAL chip that had to go with the 2 Phillips SAA1099p chips to complete the CMS/Game Blaster upgrade. Unfortunately, this was only working on CT1350B cards with REV markings with people using Lattice GAL's. Lattice GAL's would give the CMS sound but on non-REV cards the AdLib/FM/Sound Blaster part would become dead. So i decided to jump on sorting this out, invest a little time, got a programmer and a couple of National Semiconductor GAL's and try it out. First GAL was problematic, gave me errors on programming, but the second one worked and fired the upgrade right up. I'm glad that after 5 long years or so of the community spending time trying to figure this out i could give my contribution by finally giving a solution to this problem. However total credit goes to Chuck(G), who was the one that could dump the Creative PAL code. Enjoy.
