Adaptive Skiing: Coaching Fundamentals for Four-Track Skiers

Four-track is a type of stand-up skiing in which the person uses two skis and two outriggers or a device called a slider to assist with balance in motion. Skiing four-track is adaptable to a variety of disabilities. An individual who has two arms and two legs with or without prosthetics and is capable of standing is a candidate for four-tracking. This video will take you through the evaluation of your student to assess what type of equipment they will need, tips for how to load and unload the lift, and different methods to teach students how to ski four-track.
