I want Walt Disney World and the Walt Disney Company Board to understand the original mission of Epcot, see the heritage, and why we need another Ceremony for the 25th Anniversary of Epcot. Such a Milestone does not deserve to be squandered away like a TV set or a Toaster. Another ceremony like this one is very appropriate. It is also prudent to have a special fireworks program for October 1st, 2007. Let us not squander away celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Walt Disney's vision for the future. In the opening Ceremony, Card Walker states Epcot Center's goals very clearly. "We want to first entertain, then inform, and above all instill in our guests a new sense of hope and pride in mankind's ability to shape a world that offers real hope to people everywhere in the world." This quote is on the dedication plaque outside Epcot under the flag.
