SPEDINI recipe! What's a spedini? Fried mozzarella and bread | Albert Manzo's channel debut

With Caroline out of town, Al and Chris Manzo have taken over the channel. In Part 2 of The Takeover, dad -- owner of The Brownstone in Paterson, NJ -- shares his spedini recipe (fried mozzarella and bread)... along with a homemade sauce to smother it in. This is a very easy recipe and the spedini can be made in bunches -- perfect for entertaining guests. But what IS a spedini? You may have seen it on menus as "Spedini alla Romana" -- it's basically bread and mozzarella cheese, dipped in eggs and then fried. You can throw some anchovy or marinara sauce on top (al shares his recipe starting at around the 4:12 mark of the video, but the oozing cheese and fried bread are the true stars. Enjoy!
