Snixxmas Charity Drive in Memory of Naya Rivera

And this year what we’re thinking about most is our incredible friend Naya Rivera.  If you were lucky enough to know Naya, you know she threw some epic parties. The best of them all was her annual Christmas party, which she dubbed Snixxmas. Snixxmas was like Naya herself… sparkling, fabulous and one hell of a good time! But it wasn’t only glitz, glamour and gay apparel. Every holiday season, Naya found ways to give back.  Recently, Naya began working with a local non-profit in Los Angeles called Alexandria House. She not only raised and contributed funds for them, but also volunteered her time and effort to the organization. This has been a hard year for so many, including the women and children of Alexandria House. They have not only encountered the hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic, but have also suffered a major loss when one of their two residences caught fire, displacing families and damaging the property.    Now more than ever it’s important that we keep the Snixxmas Spirit alive. We won’t be able to throw a big, fabulous party this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t give back. We will be making a donation in Naya’s name to Alexandria House. And we have started this GoFundme so that you can contribute too. Let’s make charity a cornerstone of the Snixxmas Legacy. Naya was larger than life, a friend to all, hilariously funny and incredibly selfless. We ask you all to join our effort to bring a little Snixxmas cheer into the lives of those in need. Donate what you can, so that we can help this wonderful organization continue to provide safety and shelter for the women and children of Los Angeles.  If a financial donation isn’t possible for you at this time, that’s fine! Follow Naya’s lead and donate your time. Find a local charity whose mission speaks to you and aligns with your beliefs and lend a hand this season. Start a toy drive in your community!
