This was digitalized from an old VHS tape that was forgotten about for decades. Dan Copobianco saved it from being destroyed when the American Academy of Art went out of business. The image quality isn't good, but it's amazing to hear what Richard Says. We get to see Nancy Guzik ( his future wife ) in the audience and I also notice my husband Scott Burdick's voice asking a question and laughing. If you love Richard's work please share this video with any artist friend. Also, go to https://www.richardschmid.com/ and https://richardschmidfoundation.org/ You will find Richard's books on his art, videos of him painting and prints of his work. Follow his youtube and socials to learn about future opportunities to see shows and a documentary coming out by Joe Hawkins. @RichardSchmidArtist 🎨 Welcome to the Artistic Journey of Scott Burdick & Susan Lyon 🎨 Join us as we share the real life of working artists — from behind-the-scenes studio sessions to international teaching trips, museum visits, and the inspiring work of our artist friends.
