The Orlina Legacy is a documentary that explores the life and masterful art of Ramon Orlina, the artist famously known as the "Father of Glass Sculpture in the Philippines." The documentary showcases Orlina's unique technique, referred to as a "cold process," where he transforms hardened glass residue into stunning sculptures. Viewers are taken inside his workshop in Manila, as well as to his family museum, Museo Orlina, located in Tagaytay. The documentary also features the auction of one of Orlina's finest works at an art gallery in Makati, where it commands a multi-million peso price tag. Throughout the documentary, audiences are introduced to the Orlina family. His children, Anna and Michael, have followed in their father's footsteps, also becoming glass sculptors, each developing their own artistic style. His wife, Lay Ann, manages the works of all three artists. Creator and host John Aguilar is captivated by the idea of challenging the Orlina family to create something entirely new—a collaborative legacy piece. This marks the first time the three artists will come together to create a work that represents their family's legacy.
