BLUF: I think the normal tri-blade is simlilar to the 8-blade OCTOblade in loudness, but the frequency, or pitch, seems to be different, which could make one easier to hear than the other. The bi-blade configuration is just ridiculous! What do you think? I had this idea to make a 3D-printed 8-blade propeller hub for my FPV drones. So I did it. And it actually works surprisingly well! When I tested it out (see other videos) I noticed that it seemed surprisingly quiet. So in this video we'll do some hover tests to get a sound level reference using HQprop 7x3.5x3 V1S props, and 8, 6, 4, and 2 blades on the OCTOblade hub. Thanks for joining me!
