Upon sighting the dreadful creature, the two of them are scared beyong their wits. Seeing this, Iyer's son, who had been watching from afar, thoroughly enjoys himself, causing K.K. to run after him into Iyer's house. While there, the boy feigns an apology and and gifts K.K. with sweets, which the latter readily accepts, unaware that the sweets were impregnated with a potion that would turn him into a frog. The family consists of the parents, Bhavana and Jaydutt, and their three children, Shyam, Rahul and Bhairavi. K.K. the family’s cook also lives with them and considers himself a member of the family.
