My first of... Everything! Well, except for editing itself, I've done that before BUT technically everything else is new ground for me. Truth be told, I had kinda hoped to make a more "classic" Nygmob at first, maybe even a short Gobblepot. But with ep 11 coming out soon and what Robin said in Germany, I decided to wait to make a more conventional video and instead go with something different first. Going through fanfiction like mad the last couple of weeks, I found good ones taking place in Arkham either as Canon Divergence or AU; I loved some of them. So I decided to give it a shot and here's the result. Ok, notes: -More Canon Divergence than AU, actually. Can be seen as preslash or established relationship, because of the video's theme I wasn't able to go too romantic. -Yes, my masks need work, I'll practice to get better for future videos. -Does that ending count as open? Sorry about that. -Let's say Ed saved Martín before meeting Oswald, I couldn't fit the scene in 😅 Plot: Oswald and Edward were in great terms after Edward was thawed and before Oswald was taken to Arkham during season 4. Ed went to see him at the GCPD (since, apparently he's just invisible there saving for Lucius) to offer help but Oswald is depressed and just accepts his fate. In Arkham, however, Oswald meets with Jerome who starts torturing him in order to "cure him". After enduring it for a while, Oswald realizes he needs help and sends a letter to Ed. Ed goes to see him and, finding him in bad condition, decides to go back into the Asylum to help him escape. Of course, Jerome finds out and refuses to let his ally go without a fight. Ed and Oswald try to show they aren't scared of him but Jerome stays confident. While Oswald is away for therapy, Jerome confronts Ed who tries to negotiate and then entertain him. Jerome is not amazed and has Ed locked up in his room. It's Oswald's turn once again after therapy, with Ed on the line, he cannot fail. While Ed's talkative and upbeat act is nothing great, Jerome very much enjoys the silent, brutal act Oswald "puts up" for him and claims the Penguing cured. With Jerome off their backs, Ed and Oz meet again and Ed tells him he has found a way for them to escape. While Oswald keeps Jerome distracted, Ed is able to get his things back, free the inmates and use the confussion to get Oswald and himself out of Arkham for good. Jerome finds it amusing and lets them go, knowing they will come around later on. And yep, that's it, hope you enjoy! My tumblr:   / theblackarticfox
