In this talk, our panelists are discussing Episode 7 addressing Whiteness focusing on an African American student with an IEP, an African American student who is homeless, a bi-racial student who presents as White but is Mexican with lesbian parents, and a White student whose family struggles with issues of racial division. This is a must see Episode for learning about what our soon to arrive first- year students, as well as current students, deal with in order to be successful students. As a College, increased awareness to student needs will also offer open dialogues, safe spaces, and growth.
