AMERICAN IDOL McKenna Breinholt LIVE at the 9th Annual Bisbee Mariachi Festival and Miner Reunion at Bisbee’s historic Warren Ballpark. McKenna came back to perform at her birth Mothers home town and it was an emotional performance. The Mariachi Festival will feature some of the most talented Mariachi performers and energetic dancers worldwide. This is an opportunity for community members to gather and enjoy festive music, talented dancers in the Mexican tradition, and vocalists who have marveled audiences around the world. A special guest at this year’s festival is American Idol star McKenna Breinholt. Breinholt’s birth mother was Bisbee singing sensation Amy Lopez Ross of the folk duo Nowhere Man and a Whiskey Girl. A special part of the festivities is the Miners Reunion. Miners from across the Southwest and Mexico are encouraged to attend and be recognized for their work in the mining profession. Celebrating Bisbee’s rich mining heritage, there will be displays of mining artifacts and minerals from around the state. Also included will be mining-related children’s activities that will inspire kids to learn more about mining, mineralogy, and geology. Additional activities for kids will also be available, including an inflatable slide. Included in this year’s event will be a variety of local food vendors selling a range of foods from traditional Mexican delicacies, local BBQ, Kettle corn, Churros, lemonade, beer from local breweries and distributors, baked goods and much more. Other vendors at the event will have a wide array of products from jewelry to souvenirs. All proceeds of the event will go to support the nonprofit organizations, the Bisbee Coalition for the Homeless, supporting those in need in Southern Arizona through meal delivery, food handouts, shelter, clothing and more. The Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum is continuing the mining mission through historical displays, events, and more. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy the day’s festivities while supporting two local nonprofits. Tickets are $15 per adult, and children under 10 years old are free. You may purchase your tickets at the gate on event day or in advance at: www.bisbeemariachifestival.com This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Bisbee Coalition for the Homeless. Please come out and support! #News #Bisbeeaz ##SierraVistAZ #Live
