Boy howdy, if you had ordered a Pimiento Sandwich and were given the one from the New Butterick Cook Book (from the Cornell University School of Home Economics in 1924, you would be…angry, I think? That because we once again have a recipe that calls for way too much anchovy paste. Sure, I try it as written with predictable results but this time I also try a different approach that yields much different results, thankfully.
